About The Position
MK Magnetics specializes in the production of custom and standard tape wound soft magnetic cores for transformers and inductors. All the cores we sell are manufactured on site in Adelanto, California, in a modern 75,000 sq. ft. facility specifically designed and built for manufacturing tape wound magnetic cores. This position is responsible for collecting, reporting and filing data that is used by management in making Company decisions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is required
- Minimum two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Type 40 WPM
- Proven experience in extremely accurate data entry
- Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft Office especially Excel and Word
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and procedures
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, orally and in writing is critical
- Ability to be organized and maintain a clean work environment

Responsibilities
- Collect data including running reports in MRP system, communicating with the appropriate production personnel and coordinating paperwork to verify labor information and record data in Core Cost Data Sheets (CCDS) for each job
- Research any missing data or underreported data to ensure CCDS are as accurate as possible
- Work with appropriate parties to confirm on-time shipment and report on-time delivery stats to management team on a regular basis
- Implement tracking of consumables for the Company, including tracking chemical supplies so that they can be properly discarded at time of expiration
- Use established standards and checklists to re-qualify vendors and ensure performance to standards
- Assist in processing material requisitions, including creation, approval coordination, ordering, and filing
- Enter and track received material goods in the MRP system
- Other duties as assigned by Management
