About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry / Accounts Receivable Clerk to support our accounting operations. This role is responsible for accurately entering financial data, processing customer invoices and payments, and maintaining up-to-date records. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and comfortable working with numbers and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain accurate data in accounting and company systems
  • Generate and send customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Post customer payments (checks, ACH, credit card, etc.)
  • Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
  • Assist with month-end closing tasks related to A/R
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing questions
  • Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed
