About The Position

This role requires a Data Engineering Manager with hands-on experience in various data engineering technologies and a strong background in data pipeline management. The ideal candidate will have experience working with consulting partners and distributed teams, possess excellent delivery and risk management skills, and have a strong executive presence for reporting to senior leadership. Experience in regulated industries like financial services or mortgage is preferred.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Hands-on experience with Python
• Hands-on experience with PySpark
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance optimization, RBAC, Bronze/Silver/Gold architecture)
• Hands-on experience with DBT for transformations/configurations
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Airflow, Informatica, Glue, ADF, etc.)
• Strong background in data pipeline testing, validation, and quality frameworks.
• Experience working with consulting partners (Deloitte preferred)
• Experience working with distributed onshore/offshore engineering teams.
• Excellent delivery and risk management skills
• Able to foresee challenges, maintain RAID logs, and keep workstreams accountable.
• Strong executive presence; comfortable reporting to AVPs, CIO, and executive steering committees.
• Effective communicator who can bridge business and technical discussions.

• Experience in financial services, mortgage, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
