About The Position

Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Data Engineering, Management and Governance Manager in Houston, TX. This role involves analyzing, designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining multiple system components or applications. The manager will develop or update project plans for IT projects, including objectives, technologies, systems, specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing. Responsibilities include maintaining applications according to SLAs, managing project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope, and working across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance. The role requires designing, architecting, and coding applications to functional and technical standards, developing system specifications, and establishing MLops/Dataops for complex systems. The manager will identify and assess complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation and create solutions for team implementation. They will supervise a team to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications, conduct project and issue management (including status reporting, issue reporting, and ETC/budget reporting), and make decisions impacting the team through consultation with senior management. The role also involves adhering to strategic direction set by senior management/client and prototyping solutions, as well as interacting effectively with client or internal senior management. The position requires willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT industry.
  • 5 years of experience in Designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs, and database components adhering to SDLC best practices.
  • 5 years of experience in Developing cloud technologies, including AWS utilizing DevOps or Agile methodology.
  • 5 years of experience in Managing edge/Cloud interfaces for the industrial OT/IT systems.
  • 5 years of experience in Coding and deploying applications using DevOps practices, AWS, Vault, Git or Docker.
  • 5 years of experience in Utilizing frontend technologies including Angular, Typescript, and Nodejs.
  • 5 years of experience in Developing and maintaining applications and extract, transform, and load (ETL) using Python, AWS, JavaScript, and Shell.
  • 5 years of experience in Working with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Snowflake.
  • 5 years of experience in Design and Development and integration with Data Lake and real time integration using Kafka.
  • 5 years of experience in Creating solutions for maintaining data for machine learning applications.
  • 5 years of experience in Driving key delivery orchestration, design decisions, and suggesting improvements on ongoing issues.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.

Responsibilities
