Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Solid expertise in Python and/or Scala/Java
  • Advanced SQL skills for data manipulation and performance tuning
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, Snowflake or Kafka
  • Exhaustive experience of working with Azure cloud services
  • Designing, building, and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing (e.g., Snowflake), and ETL/ELT best practices
  • Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow), CI/CD, Git, and Linux
  • Solid communication, collaboration, and the ability to mentor junior engineers

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms using advanced programming languages, and cloud data warehouses (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake)
  • Develop resilient data architectures across data warehouses, lakes, and streaming environments to support enterprise analytics and reporting
  • Ensure enterprise data security, governance, quality, and standardization across all data and analytics solutions
  • Lead the end to end delivery of analytics data products, from design and development through production support and optimization
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering partners to enable business intelligence, advanced analytics, and machine learning solutions
  • Mentor and guide a team of data engineers, driving best practices, technical excellence, and continuous improvement
