About The Position

As a Data Engineer, you’ll help design the highly specialized data collection infrastructure in support of Centerfield's proprietary Data Architecture. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in the position offered, as a Data Engineer, BI Engineer, Data Warehousing Engineer or related occupation.
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools such as Talend, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or Informatica.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (Google cloud bucket, Google cloud fusion, Google Big Query, and Google Analytics).
  • Experience with Performance-tuning techniques.
  • Experience with Realtime streaming implementation and architecture.
  • Experience with Building reports and data visualization with any BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Experience with Data organization and experience with ETL/ELT (Extract, Transform, Load /Extract, Load, Transform) processes.
  • Experience with Designing resilient data pipelines.
  • Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) and GCP technologies (S3, SQS, Redshift, Kinesis, Google cloud bucket, cloud data fusion, Google Big Query).
  • Experience with Java and Python and their respective build and packaging systems.
  • Experience with NoSQL (not only Structured Query Language) databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, Druid, Hive, and Presto.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, SQS, Redshift, and DocumentDB).

Responsibilities

  • Help design the highly specialized data collection infrastructure in support of Centerfield's proprietary Data Architecture.
  • Aid the team with troubleshooting, researching the root cause, and resolving technical defects in the event of a problem.
  • Help to implement technical maintenance strategies for all specialized datasets.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to deliver appropriate BI (Business Intelligence), data warehousing, reporting, and analytical infrastructure required to support Centerfield's assets.
  • Own problems from end-to-end, in order to collect, extract, and clean the data.
