About The Position
We are seeking a Data Engineer to support Data Engineering initiatives across two Data Engineering Teams: the Prospect Team and the Student Team. The role involves contributing to the stabilization and scaling of the Data Engineering organization. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position with a strong intent to convert to a full-time employee at or before 6 months. The position is onsite 4 days per week (Monday-Thursday) and is located in either Lisle, IL or Columbia, MD. Sponsorship is not provided and will not be allowed in the future.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills (minimum ~7.5/10; critical requirement)
- Hands-on data engineering experience (batch and real-time pipelines, data warehousing, data modeling)
- Airflow experience with Python proficiency
- Cloud experience required (GCP preferred, AWS acceptable)
Responsibilities
- Support Data Engineering initiatives across the Prospect Team and Student Team.
- Contribute to stabilizing and scaling the Data Engineering organization.
