The Role You will own and elevate the company’s data foundation—ensuring that every data point flowing across flight operations, billing, and business systems is accurate, reliable, and actionable. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, and partnering closely with the Full-Stack Engineer, this role ensures all metrics flow smoothly between systems, are reconciled accurately, and provide leadership with reliable numbers to drive the business forward.
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years of experience in data engineering
- Proven ability to build and own pipelines in production, not just design them
- Strong expertise in SQL and Python, with experience writing matching logic against messy, real-world data
- Comfortable working with infrastructure, including Docker, scheduling, cloud basics

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines that ingest, clean, and model flight, billing, and operations data
- Develop reconciliation systems that automatically detect revenue leakage and billing errors
- Design and own the data model — how information is structured, stored, and accessed across the company
- Implement monitoring and alerting so data problems surface before anyone notices them
- Harden and productionize rapidly built pipelines from the Full-Stack Engineer for scalability and reliability
- Establish and maintain the single source of truth for all reporting and analytics
