The ideal candidate is a hands-on data professional with experience building scalable pipelines, integrating complex data sources, and supporting analytics in mission-focused environments. This individual will work across technical and stakeholder teams to design, develop, and maintain data solutions that improve reporting, operational insight, and decision support.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a closely related field.
Strong experience with Python, SQL, and modern data integration and transformation techniques.
Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and working with relational and non-relational data stores.
Understanding of data quality, governance, metadata, and secure handling of sensitive information.
Ability to troubleshoot data issues, improve performance, and work effectively in an agile delivery environment.
This position requires the candidates to be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance is required; higher clearance may be required based on customer assignment.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with cloud-based data environments and orchestration tools is preferred.
Experience supporting federal, DoD, or Intelligence Community clients is preferred.
Experience supporting analytics, machine learning data preparation, or operational reporting use cases is a plus.
Relevant Cloud or Data Engineering certification is preferred.
Security+ or related certification is a plus based on program requirements.

Responsibilities

Design, build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and workflows that support analytics, reporting, and mission delivery.
Develop and manage ingestion, transformation, validation, and integration processes for structured and unstructured data.
Partner with technical leads, analysts, and customer stakeholders to define data requirements and implement scalable solutions.
Support data architecture, data quality, and data lifecycle management activities across cloud and hybrid environments.
Build reusable components and engineering patterns that improve efficiency, reliability, and maintainability of data solutions.
Contribute to dashboarding, reporting, and analytic enablement by preparing data for downstream consumption.
Support DevSecOps and CI/CD practices for data engineering deliverables, including version control, testing, and deployment activities.
