About The Position
We are seeking a self-starting Data Engineer, fueled by collaboration, who can transform conceptual designs into reliable, scalable processes that meet or exceed customer needs. The ideal candidate will be adept at analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting data pipelines, including root cause analysis and resolutions. This role involves working with various Development teams, Technology partners, and business stakeholders to deliver unified and timely support, while upholding quality and resolution standards to fulfill the operational needs of our business stakeholders.
Requirements
- 10+ Years of IT experience
- 7+ years of experience as an ETL/ELT developer/data engineer
- 3+ years of Databricks data engineering experience
- Knowledge in GitHub
- Knowledge in Jenkins
- Knowledge in Informatica
- Expert in AWS Databricks
- Expert in Python
- Expert in Spark
- Strong SQL experience
- Strong UNIX Shell scripting experience
Nice To Haves
- Databricks Data Engineer certification preferred
- Spark Developer certification preferred
- Working knowledge of the Finance or Insurance industry
Responsibilities
- Transform conceptual designs into reliable, scalable processes.

- Deliver unified and timely support, upholding quality and resolution standards.
- Fulfill the operational needs of business stakeholders.
- Performance tune data pipelines.
- Communicate issues and follow up through issue resolution.
- Provide Production Support for applications.
- Monitor production jobs.
- Triage issues to the appropriate team and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
