About The Position

As a Data Engineer at Booz Allen, you will implement data engineering activities on mission-driven projects, developing and deploying pipelines and workflows that organize disparate data and make it meaningful. You will work with and guide a multidisciplinary team of analysts, data engineers, developers, and data consumers in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will use analytical exploration and data examination to assess, design, build, and maintain analytic solutions for clients.

Requirements

• Experience utilizing programming and querying languages, including Python, R, Scala, or SQL.
• Experience developing and maintaining data applications for reporting and analytics.
• Experience creating software for retrieving, parsing, and processing structured and unstructured data.
• Experience building scalable ETL or ELT workflows for reporting and analytics.
• Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
