About The Position

As a Data Engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll implement data engineering activities on some of the most mission-driven projects in the industry. You’ll deploy and develop pipelines and platforms that organize and make disparate data available and meaningful. Requirements

3+ years of experience with data pipelines, including data acquisition, data prep, and database architecture
3+ years of experience in ETL development using Java, Python, SQL, or Scala
2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL or Kafka
Experience with AWS services
Experience with designing and implementing, containerizing, and deploying end-to-end automated data and ML pipelines, within a Cloud environment
Knowledge of the ML lifecycle and concepts to develop an MLOps ecosystem
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

Experience with Kafka ecosystem tools, such as Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams
Experience with NiFi
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools, such as Terraform or Ansible
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Experience working on real-time data and streaming applications
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
