About The Position

Emplify Health is seeking a Data Engineer to build and support scalable data solutions that help improve patient outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role contributes to enterprise data lake initiatives and partners with stakeholders and technology teams to develop modern data pipelines, analytics solutions, reports, and dashboards that turn data into actionable insights.

The Data Engineer develops data pipelines with an emphasis on scalability, maintainability, performance, and quality. The position collaborates with stakeholders and peers across the organization to create data-driven solutions that improve patient care and outcomes and optimize business operations. The role is based at the Support Services Building in Onalaska, Wisconsin, with onsite, hybrid, or remote work options. Remote employment is available only to residents of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa. The schedule is Monday through Friday, days, for 40 hours per week (80 hours biweekly; 1.0 FTE).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience and education.
• Experience with Power BI development, writing SQL, Python, R, and Databricks.
• Familiarity with Epic tools, including Healthy Planet, Cogito Tools, and SlicerDicer.
• Experience working with data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
