As a Data Engineer, you will develop and optimize data integration solutions, implement automation, monitor data quality, and collaborate with architects and business teams to align data solutions with enterprise data models.

Requirements

  • Proficient in building and maintaining ETL and ELT data pipelines using tools such as Snowflake, DBT,FiveTran, Boomi, and API-based integrations.
  • Strong SQL, scripting, and data modelling skills, with the ability to map data flows, lineage, and relationships across source and target systems.
  • Ability to implement ingestion, transformation, orchestration, validation, cleansing, and quality checks independently using standard Cooke tools and patterns.
  • Working knowledge of data warehousing, APIs, integration patterns, data security, metadata management, and governance workflows.
  • Strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills to resolve data quality or performance issues and work effectively with architects, analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in data engineering, integration development, analytics enablement, or related technical roles.
  • Proficiencyin SQL, Python, ETL or ELT tools, data warehousing concepts, APIs, pipeline automation, and data quality troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on use of Cooke’s cloud data platform, familiarity with data governance and MDM integrations, and alignment with Cooke’s enterprise data model and security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimizedata pipelines and transformations to support analytics and operational reporting.
  • Implement data validation, cleansing, and quality checks to ensure reliable datasets.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and application teams to understand and deliver against data requirements.
  • Automate data ingestion and integration processes to improve performance, reliability, and repeatability.
  • Maintain data documentation, metadata, lineage, and technical specifications for ongoing support and reference.
