About The Position

NAC is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data solutions on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. The position supports the use of firm data for advanced analytics, reporting, and digital transformation. The engineer will develop automated, reliable, scalable, and high-quality data solutions, including ingestion from business systems into a governed lakehouse and optimization of data models and datasets used for reporting. Reporting to the Data Leader, the role works closely with IT leadership, the data team, and resources supporting data architecture and governance. Work includes building and maintaining data pipelines and integrations; implementing Microsoft Fabric lakehouse, warehouse, and analytics capabilities; developing curated datasets and semantic models; optimizing data architecture and transformations; maintaining data quality, security, and governance practices; supporting migration of legacy systems; collaborating with stakeholders; documenting solutions; and following source control and deployment practices. The role is based in one of NAC’s four offices: Columbus, Los Angeles, Seattle, or Spokane. The work environment is a professional open-office setting with collaborative work areas and shared resources. This is a full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week.
