About The Position

We are looking for a Data Engineer for a modern tech company in Stockholm where a high technical level is combined with a human approach and a strong culture for learning and development. AI is changing how we build systems and work with data, but real value is still created through strong architecture, well-thought-out data models, and sustainable technical solutions. Therefore, we are looking for you who want to combine modern technology with quality and business understanding. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with clients and teams to design, develop, and further develop modern data platforms and data flows. You will work hands-on throughout the entire development chain – from data collection and modeling to pipelines, platforms, and further development. The role involves consulting assignments with clients where you will have the opportunity to contribute both technically and commercially.

Requirements

At least 4-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in backend development
Academic degree in, for example, computer science, systems development, or engineering
Strong competence in Python and SQL
Experience in building data pipelines and working with modern data platforms
Experience with one or more of the following: Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Apache Spark, dbt, Azure, AWS, or GCP
Interest in modern development methods and AI-supported ways of working
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing

Responsibilities

Design, build, and further develop data platforms and data pipelines
Ensure high data quality, security, and long-term sustainability
Develop solutions with Python, SQL, and modern data platforms
Work with cloud-based data ecosystems and modern development flows
Collaborate with clients to transform business needs into robust technical solutions
Explore and utilize AI support where it creates value
Contribute to knowledge sharing and strong technical collaboration
