About The Position

As a Data Engineer I, you will contribute to the design, development, and upkeep of scalable data pipelines and systems. Collaborating with data scientists, analysts, and key stakeholders, you will help ensure data accessibility, integrity, and security to support organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Recent internship or project experience in data engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
  • Epic training is required within 90 days of employment and certification within 6 months of employment. Certification may need to be maintained as new version training is released.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data issues.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data management principles.
  • Basic proficiency in SQL and other database query languages.
  • Basic knowledge of data visualization tools.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of data security and compliance best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud platforms for data storage and management.
  • Familiarity with big data processing frameworks and ETL tools.
