About The Position

At Syncro, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the pipelines and databases that are essential for reporting, analytics, CRM, and automation across the company. This role involves owning the data lifecycle from source to consumption, which includes gathering requirements from end-user teams, designing data solutions, constructing data pipelines, and ensuring the health of databases. The Senior Data Engineer will collaborate closely with stakeholders in GTM Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product to transform business requirements into reliable data assets.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong SQL and hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines in production.
• Proficiency in a programming language used for data work, such as Python.
• Experience with database administration, including performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling across relational and analytical databases.
• A track record of gathering requirements from business stakeholders and designing data solutions to match.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data warehouses (e.g., Databricks / Snowflake).
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration and automation tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, or similar).
• Experience with BI and reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc).
• Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort working directly with cross-functional partners.
• A bias for automation and continuous improvement over one-off fixes.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to the SaaS ecosystem and its common data sources, such as CRM, marketing automation, billing, and product analytics platforms.
• Experience supporting Go-To-Market or Operations teams.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance practices.

• Pay Range: 2,876,375 to 3,355,770 Indian Rupees (INR)
