About The Position

As a Data Engineer, you’ll partner closely with our Principal Data Engineers to keep pipelines healthy, resolve bugs, and deliver well-modeled, trusted data for reporting and analytics. You’ll spend most of your time writing SQL and Python, designing and optimizing database models, and helping ship projects that power dashboards, self-service analytics, and data science. Experience with Databricks is a strong plus.

Requirements

Strong SQL (advanced joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning)
Python for data processing (pandas or PySpark) and automation
Hands-on database/data warehouse modeling (dimensional and normalized)
Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)
Operational mindset with strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills
Clear, concise communicator who can translate business needs into technical tasks
Collaborative, service-oriented teammate; comfortable pairing with Principal Engineers and supporting analysts
Organized and detail-driven with solid documentation habits
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and the software development lifecycle

Nice To Haves

Experience with Databricks is a strong plus
Cloud data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
Job orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, ADF, Prefect, Dagster)
Data quality frameworks and observability tooling
Familiarity with BI ecosystems (Power BI, Sigma)
