About The Position

This is a temporary project role for a Data Engineer located onsite in Jupiter, FL. The estimated duration is 12+ months with possible extensions. The role requires 100% of the time to be spent at the Client's site, with no telecommuting or remote work. Candidates must be able to relocate as required. The position involves designing, developing, and deploying data and analytics solutions to support nuclear operations and decision-making, collaborating with cross-functional teams, building data pipelines for AI initiatives, developing analytical models, ensuring data integrity and compliance, providing Level 3 support for Power BI reports, and staying current with emerging technologies.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Jupiter, FL
• Experience with data pipeline design, development, and deployment for analytics and data warehousing initiatives
• Experience with ETL processes
• Experience with data management practices including data quality, governance, retention, privacy, and security
• Experience with Power BI, including Power BI Architect-level implementation and Level 3 support
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, Databricks, and PostgreSQL
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and GCP), AWS DMS, Microsoft Copilot, and Microsoft Studio
• Experience with OpenSearch and Neo4j
• Experience with industry regulations and standards related to nuclear data management and security
• US citizenship or US Permanent Residency required

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy data and analytics solutions to support nuclear operations and decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT, engineering, and operations teams to understand data needs and develop effective solutions
• Build and maintain foundational data pipelines to support AI initiatives
• Develop advanced analytical models and algorithms to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Provide Level 3 support for existing Power BI reports
• Stay current on emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive continuous improvement in data practices
