About The Position

Black Cape is a technology company focused on full-stack web applications, advanced data analysis tools, and integrating AI/ML capabilities for federal government customers. We are seeking an Intelligence Analyst with technical know-how to represent the next generation of object-based intelligence globally. The ideal candidate will have a background in the intelligence community, specifically in defense intelligence, and understand how to tackle problems related to operational readiness and disposition. This role requires the ability to work with technical teams and effectively communicate ideas about system utilization to analysts, senior stakeholders, and other parties. The position is based in Bethesda, MD, but other locations may be considered. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to obtain a CI Poly. The candidate will work on cloud-native full-stack web applications, advanced data analysis tools, and machine learning capabilities for Department of War (DoW) and Intelligence Community (IC) customers.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance and willingness to get an SCI w/ CI Poly.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 1.5+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong grasp of graph theory, data modeling, and structuring complex, multi-dimensional relationships.
  • Expertise with graph database solutions (Anzograph, Neo4j, or Amazon Neptune).
  • Familiarity with database query languages (Cypher, SQL, SPARQL).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, shell scripting).
  • Familiarity with Linux systems (RedHat-based distributions).
  • Experience working with software development teams.
  • Experience working in and willingness to work in classified government environments.
  • Experience developing on MacOS, Windows, and Linux.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AWS Console including lite management of EC2 instances.
  • Background working with Object-Based Intelligence.
  • Background communicating to senior stakeholders in a classified environment.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
  • Ability to help build training materials in conjunction with the technical team.

Responsibilities

  • Structure complex, multi-dimensional relationships using graph theory and data modeling.
  • Utilize graph database solutions such as Anzograph, Neo4j, or Amazon Neptune.
  • Query databases using Cypher, SQL, and SPARQL.
  • Develop solutions using Python and shell scripting.
  • Work with Linux systems, including RedHat-based distributions.
  • Collaborate with software development teams.
  • Work in classified government environments.
  • Develop on MacOS, Windows, and Linux.
  • Communicate ideas about system utilization to analysts, senior stakeholders, and other parties.
  • Assist in building training materials in conjunction with the technical team (preferred).
