Position Overview We are seeking a Data Engineer with deep knowledge of large-scale enterprise datasets to drive the identification and resolution of data quality gaps through advanced analytics. In this role, you will translate complex data into clear, visual insights that highlight trends and support informed, data-driven decision-making related to supply chain and long-term forecasting needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree welcomed. Candidates with an Associate's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Comparable backgrounds such as Data Scientist or Data Analyst experience are welcomed.
  • Business Statistics - knowledge of statistical tools, processes, and practices to describe business results in measurable terms and support data-driven business decisions.
  • Analytical Thinking - ability to determine root causes of organizational problems and develop alternative solutions.
  • Machine Learning - knowledge of machine learning principles, technologies, and algorithms, with the ability to develop, implement, and deliver related systems and services.
  • Programming Languages - ability to use tools, techniques, and platforms to write and modify code.
  • Requirements Analysis - ability to elicit, analyze, and record business functionality and non-functional requirements to support successful system or software development.
  • Data Engineering & Modeling: ETL/ELT development, data pipeline design, data warehousing, and data quality management.
  • Programming & Advanced Analytics: expertise in Python and SQL (advanced querying and data manipulation), machine learning algorithms, feature engineering, NLP/text analytics, and statistical analysis.
  • Data Visualization & Business Storytelling: Power BI/Tableau expertise, executive reporting, data-driven recommendations, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Cloud & Data Platforms: hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake or BigQuery).
  • Domain Knowledge: experience with supply chain, capacity planning, and/or inventory management concepts.
  • Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, testing, and delivery of business intelligence solutions, tools, and services for supply chain and capacity planning.
  • Gather and document business requirements, create functional requirement documents, perform validation testing, and support successful implementations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and data/reporting owner for key business processes, responding to inquiries from internal stakeholders and business partners.
  • Support daily production and reporting processes across multiple business and technical platforms.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex system and data issues, identify root causes, and implement high-quality solutions.
  • Lead or contribute to medium- and large-scale projects, collaborating with cross-functional business and IT teams.
