About The Position

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Engineer for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in Richmond, VA. This is a 7+ month contract opportunity. This role will focus on data management, with responsibilities in either data warehouse modeling or big data and machine learning engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience with technologies such as ETL, data modeling, Spark, Hadoop, and Python.

Requirements

1-4 years of experience in data management
Experience with one of the following skillsets: Data Warehouse: ETL, Scripting, Data Modeling, Datawarehouse Design, Data Mining, migration, roadmaps
Experience with one of the following skillsets: Big Data/ML: Spark, Hadoop, Big Data Tech stack, Python, Scala, Mapreduce, LangChain, AI/ML

Responsibilities

Perform ETL and scripting tasks
Develop data models and design data warehouses
Conduct data mining, migration, and create technology roadmaps
Work with Big Data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop
Develop solutions using Python, Scala, and Mapreduce
Engage with AI/ML technologies including LangChain
