About The Position

Talent Pool for upcoming assignments. Remote, Work-from-Home. Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain Secret Clearance. @Orchard LLC is anticipating a need for several Data Engineers experienced in Databricks and PySpark to support the Federal Government on several remote assignments. Our objective is to identify qualified and interested prospects so that we are ready to react rapidly as needs arise. You will need to be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Databricks and/or PySpark
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience in data engineering, AI/ML, analytics, or software development roles
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical execution ability.
• Ability to operate effectively in client-facing consulting environments.
• Experience supporting federal or regulated environments
• US citizen with the ability to obtain a clearance

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NLP, LLMs, or advanced analytics
• Experience with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• API development and system integration
• Familiarity with data governance, auditability, and secure data handling

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, production-grade data pipelines.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using PySpark
• Build data architecture using Databricks and modern data platforms
• Integrate structured and unstructured data across distributed environments
• Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of data systems
• Deliver client-facing data solutions in federal environments
• Translate business needs into production-grade technical systems
• Operate in Agile teams and support the full delivery lifecycle
• Develop audit-ready documentation, SOPs, and technical artifacts
• Contribute to Iberia’s internal platforms, accelerators, and innovation
