About The Position

We’re seeking a highly motivated and data-savvy Digital Data Engineer to drive the next phase of maturity in our digital analytics capabilities. This role is pivotal to helping our product and digital leadership teams make smarter, faster, and more informed decisions. You will focus on building data pipelines in Python to consolidate and standardize data coming from Excel files, legacy systems, and third-party sources. you'll have a hand in everything from cleaning and transforming data to enabling Power BI reporting.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in digital analytics, data science, or business intelligence, preferably in financial services, fintech, or a digital-first environment.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data querying for large datasets. Experience with Python.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Familiarity with Oracle, Azure, MS SQL Server, MySQL, DB2, and Salesforce APIs
• Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards and data models to support digital product performance tracking.
• Strong communication skills, especially in presenting complex data to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with digital leadership, digital product owners, and business partners to design and build automated data pipelines that are the pillars of our insights, reports and dashboards.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and flexible ad hoc reports to support decision-making across product, design, engineering, and executive leadership.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert on our digital data sets—owning how they are captured, stored, and interpreted.
• Working with internal stakeholders to understand data needs, data quality issues
• Supporting the Power BI team by preparing data for reporting
