About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data pipelines and warehousing solutions. You will work closely with various teams to ensure data quality, reliability, and efficient data management. This position involves working in an Agile environment and contributing to the continuous improvement of our data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong expertise in IICS (mappings, tasks, parameterization, scheduling).
• Proficient in Snowflake (warehouses, stages, SnowSQL, task/stream pipelines).
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in writing complex queries and tuning performance.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT design, data warehousing concepts, and cloud-based data architecture.
• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Python for automation or data processing.
• Familiarity with Terraform, DBT, Airflow, or other orchestration/automation tools.
• Knowledge of API integrations and real-time/streaming solutions.
• Exposure to data governance, data quality frameworks, and metadata management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Cloud (IICS).
• Build, optimize, and manage data models and data warehousing solutions in Snowflake.
• Write efficient and complex SQL queries for data transformation, analysis, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across all data pipelines.
• Develop reusable data frameworks, automation processes, and workflow orchestration.
• Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements.
• Work in Agile teams supporting sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release cycles.
