About The Position
We are seeking a Data Engineer with 7 years of experience in software analysis, design, and development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java for backend and distributed systems, a strong background in streaming technologies, and proven experience in designing and operating distributed systems at scale. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native serving infrastructure on GCP is required, along with strong experience in building streaming data pipelines and managing hybrid infrastructure with active on-prem and GCP environments.
Requirements
- 7 years of experience in software analysis, design and development
- Deep expertise in Java for backend and distributed systems
- Strong background in streaming technologies (Dataflow, Kafka, Flink, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in designing and operating distributed systems at scale
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native serving infrastructure on GCP
- Strong experience in building streaming data pipelines (Dataflow or equivalent across on-prem and cloud)
- Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture
- Hands-on experience managing hybrid infrastructure with active on-prem and GCP environments
