About The Position
Wipro is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing solutions. The role is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, with three days per week onsite. The successful candidate will use Python, PySpark, and SQL to develop data solutions, process large datasets, and support data quality, reliability, and performance. They will work with analysts, developers, and business teams, and troubleshoot pipeline issues while maintaining technical documentation.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and distributed processing.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Five to eight years of experience.
- Data integration and PySpark are mandatory skills.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms and orchestration tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and PySpark.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
- Process large datasets and improve data quality, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
- Troubleshoot pipeline issues and maintain technical documentation.
