About The Position

Corewell Health is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to develop and deploy ELT/ETL processes across multiple sources, targets, and tools. This role involves communicating with data consumers to improve data-related processes, developing and deploying self-service reporting assets for end-user data exploration, and creating and modifying data ingestion pipelines and workflows according to technical specifications. The position also requires providing support for incidents related to data warehouses, datasets, and data pipelines. This is a full-time, day shift position with a 40-hour work week, located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. No visa sponsorship is offered for this position. Telecommuting is permitted from within the US.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
• 60 months of experience as a Data Engineer, Software Developer, or related.
• 3 years of experience in the health care industry.
• Developing ETL/ELT workflows with Informatica & Python.
• Building & managing data warehouses/marts using SQL plus Azure Synapse or Snowflake.
• Creating insights using tools including: Power BI, Crystal, plus Dundas or Tableau.
• Working with Azure portal, Unix scripting, Jira, Agile, and Waterfall.

Responsibilities

• Develop, create and modify data ingestion pipelines and workflows that align with technical specifications.
