About The Position

We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the pipelines and databases that power reporting, analytics, CRM and automation across Syncro. You'll own data from source to consumption: gathering requirements from the teams who use it, designing the solution, building the pipelines, and keeping the databases healthy. You'll work closely with stakeholders across GTM Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Product, turning requirements into dependable data assets.

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience in data engineering
• Strong SQL and hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines in production
• Proficiency in a programming language used for data work, such as Python
• Experience with database administration, including performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling across relational and analytical databases
• A track record of gathering requirements from business stakeholders and designing data solutions to match
• Experience with cloud data platforms and data warehouses (eg. Databricks / Snowflake)
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration and automation tools (eg. Airflow, dbt, or similar)
• Experience with BI and reporting tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc)
• Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort working directly with cross-functional partners
• A bias for automation and continuous improvement over one-off fixes

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to the SaaS ecosystem and its common data sources, such as CRM, marketing automation, billing, and product analytics platforms
• Experience supporting Go-To-Market or Operations teams
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance practices
