About The Position

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our team in San Francisco, CA. This is a long-term contract position with relocation assistance available. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and storage, working with various data sources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data availability and accuracy. You will also be responsible for implementing data quality checks, maintaining documentation, and optimizing ETL processes for performance. This role will support cloud-based data infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python or Java/Scala
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Understanding of ETL processes and data modeling concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is a plus
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
