About The Position

TeamWorx Security is seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to build and maintain data pipelines and data products for a federal government client. The role works alongside senior engineers, data scientists, and government stakeholders to ingest data from source systems, clean and validate it, and deliver reliable datasets for analytics, reporting, and automation. Work spans multiple business lines, and priorities may shift as teams’ needs change. The position is suited to an engineer with solid fundamentals and hands-on Databricks experience who wants to grow by working across new business areas and technologies. The role is fully remote within the United States. U.S. citizenship is required, and the candidate must be eligible to obtain and maintain federal suitability, a government-issued PIV credential, and required system access. TeamWorx Security describes itself as a Maryland startup that is quickly growing. Its team includes data scientists, software engineers, researchers, product developers, and operations-minded professionals. The company’s mission is to reinvent how technical and non-technical people work with technology through harmonious, automated solutions that improve customers’ daily workflows. Its stated core values are putting employees first, being curious, being authentic, being scrappy, and honoring those it serves. Benefits include comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; short-term disability and life insurance; matching 401(k) contributions; paid time off, including 11 holidays and the employee’s birthday; professional development; fitness membership; home office allocations; performance bonuses and profit sharing; and employee referral bonuses. The company also emphasizes working with teammates to support their professional goals and potential.
