About The Position

Graham Technologies is seeking a highly qualified Data Engineer / Python & SQL Developer to support the design, development, and deployment of enterprise data engineering and ETL solutions in a mission-focused environment. The successful candidate will possess advanced expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS cloud services, with experience building scalable data pipelines, designing databases, and supporting secure cloud-based data integrations. This role requires strong technical documentation skills and the ability to operate effectively within Agile delivery teams supporting Federal and DoD initiatives.

Requirements

5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or Data Integration.
Advanced experience developing solutions using Python and SQL.
Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and related cloud services.
Experience designing and optimizing relational databases and data models.
Experience working in Agile environments utilizing Jira.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

Nice To Haves

Prior Department of Defense (DoD) or U.S. Air Force program experience.
Experience supporting secure government environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python and SQL.
Build and support cloud-based data integration solutions utilizing AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, Amazon S3, and related AWS services.
Design database schemas and implement data modeling, normalization, optimization, and integrity controls.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, data flow diagrams, and operational procedures.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality, integration, and performance issues.
Conduct ETL testing, code reviews, and quality assurance activities.
Collaborate with architects, analysts, developers, and program leadership to support successful project delivery.
