About The Position
The Data Engineer-Junior will support future Defense & Intelligence Programs for SOCPAC at Camp Smith, Hawaii. This role has an anticipated start date of late May 2026.
Requirements
- Foundational experience with Python, SQL, or similar scripting languages.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Databricks, Spark, or similar distributed data tools (academic/project experience accepted).
- Current DoW TS/SCI Clearance is required.
- 0–3 years of related experience (internship or academic project experience accepted).
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- On-site 5 days.
- Due to US Government Contract Requirements, only US Citizens are eligible for this role
Nice To Haves
- cloud foundational certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain basic ETL/ELT pipelines to support mission-critical analytics.
- Assist in integrating, cleaning, and validating data from structured and unstructured sources.
- Contribute to data modeling, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.
