About The Position

As a Data Engineer Intern on the Berkley Technology Services (BTS) Berkley Data Warehouse Team, you’ll partner directly with a team of highly experienced data warehouse engineers and architects. You’ll gain hands-on experience related to the Berkley data warehouse. Key functions will include but are not limited to: Develop ETL processes using DataStage or SSIS, Develop and utilize Tidal Enterprise Scheduler workflows, Develop MSSQL/Azure SQL statements and or stored procedures, Develop understanding of insurance, reinsurance, and financial data, Assist with implementation and management of UiPath Orchestrator, Automation Hub, and Task Mining, Assist with implementation and management of DataStage, SSIS, Redgate, Fivetran, Collaborate with peer technical teams, Collaborate with Operating Units.

Requirements

• At least three years of college or university coursework completed; preference is for some coursework related to computer science or similar area of study

Nice To Haves

• Prior related co-op, internship, and/or on or off-campus technical experience preferred but not required
• Previous exposure to RDBMS solutions (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.) is a plus
• Experience leading group projects in a classroom, internship/co-op, and/or professional setting is a plus
• Understanding of RESTful API
