About The Position
We are looking for a skilled Database Engineering intern for our Summer 2027 internship program. As a Database Engineering intern, you will utilize Microsoft SQL Server and Azure cloud services to construct data solutions, ensure data integrity, and proper data transformations to move data from sources to target data structures.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's with a graduation date of December 2027 – May 2028
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Experience in Python programming language for data processing and automation tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in SQL Server, SSIS, and Stored Procedures for data integration
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Snowflake (a plus), a cloud-based data platform, for data warehousing and management.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective database solutions.
- Identify root cause and impact of support issues and outages.
- Challenge the existing way of doing things by recommending solutions to improve new and existing systems.
- Collaborate and find simplified approaches to business complexities.
