About The Position

As a Data Engineer III on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and artificial intelligence use cases. You will develop and optimize extract, transform, and load processes for structured and unstructured data across multiple source systems. You will implement data models, data quality controls, and validation processes to support accurate and reliable downstream consumption. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into scalable data engineering solutions. You will also support deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning of data solutions in cloud and enterprise environments.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance
  • 1+ years of Databricks project experience or Databricks Associate Developer certification
  • 4+ years of experience building extract, transform, and load pipelines in Databricks
  • 4+ years of experience creating and maintaining bronze, silver, and gold tables in Databricks
  • 4+ years of experience using PySpark and SQL in a developer-focused role
  • Ability to travel 0-25%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related technical field
  • Experience supporting data modernization programs for government or public sector organizations
  • Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark
  • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
  • Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment for data engineering solutions
  • Experience with relational, dimensional, and analytical data modeling
