About The Position

Pathlabs is an end-to-end digital media partner built for agencies. We handle all aspects of our clients’ digital media campaigns, so they can focus on growing their business. Pathlabs is an extension of an agency’s team, combining the best of both worlds between in-house teams and media vendors. In a product-obsessed world, we double down on service-based solutions. We focus on planning, executing, optimizing, and reporting of performance-based paid advertising campaigns - providing our clients a single point of entry into the world of digital media.

Requirements

  • 4+ years building and maintaining production data pipelines
  • Strong SQL and strong Python
  • Demonstrated experience with production API integrations against third-party platforms
  • Experience with a cloud data warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar)
  • Experience with data orchestration tooling (Fivetran, Airflow, Dagster, or similar)
  • Solid data modeling fundamentals
  • Git and collaborative development workflows
  • Practical experience with data quality monitoring and validation
  • Clear written communication with both technical and non-technical people
  • AI-Assisted Development experience

Nice To Haves

  • Digital advertising domain experience — Meta Ads, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, DV360, CM360, HubSpot
  • dbt or a similar SQL transformation framework
  • Experience with low-code platforms such as Retool or Airtable
  • Google Cloud Platform
  • TypeScript / Next.js

Responsibilities

  • Own data pipelines end to end, from source system to delivery
  • Design and implement ELT processes that hold up as data complexity grows
  • Build and maintain integrations with advertising platform and martech APIs — including: auth, rate limits, pagination, schema drift, and backfills
  • Design and improve the data models feeding our reporting and business intelligence tools
  • Build monitoring and alerting for data quality, so problems surface before stakeholders find them
  • Diagnose and resolve data issues, including the ambiguous ones with no obvious owner
  • Ship production-ready work: tested, validated, monitored
  • Document what you build well enough that we can operate it when you're not on a project with us
  • Make technical decisions, justify them, and raise tradeoffs early rather than after the fact
  • Give clear status updates and flag blockers fast
