About The Position

Join Amazon’s AWS Field Experience (AFX), Revenue Lifecycle Automation and Intelligence (RAIn) team as a Data Engineer II. Work onsite in Dallas on a 6-month contract (relocation welcome) and help design and deliver scalable, innovative data solutions that directly empower Amazon’s field teams. This is a unique opportunity to work in one of the world’s largest data warehouse environments, leveraging your expertise to solve complex business challenges and drive impactful results. Requirements

• 3+ years of data engineering experience in complex environments.
• Advanced SQL proficiency for data analysis and manipulation.
• High-level Python skills for orchestration, automation, and pipeline development.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and operating ETL pipelines and large-scale data structures.
• Strong background in data modeling and data warehousing.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with AWS stack (Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Kinesis, Firehose, Lambda, IAM).
• Familiarity with non-relational databases or data stores (object, document, key-value, graph, column-family).
• Expertise in developing scalable business intelligence analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and large-scale data structures for business intelligence and analytics.
• Develop and support analytic technologies that enable timely, flexible, and structured data access for business customers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data solutions.
• Model metadata, create dashboards, and generate reports using in-house and Quick Suite tools.
• Ensure data quality and reliability through automation and best practices.
• Drive results by taking ownership of projects from conception to deployment.
