About The Position

This is a temporary assignment for a Data Engineer II position located in Bellevue, WA. The role involves working on large impact projects with broad-scale impacts and high visibility within a diverse and unique team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced technical knowledge and demonstrate an ownership bias for action.
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering experience
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS
- Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence

- Prior client experience or worked at similar tech companies
- Quality of work and being able to work independently
Responsibilities
- Building ETL pipelines
- Communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe data modeling decisions and data engineering strategy
- Development or technical support, or experience with data infrastructures: relational analytic DBMS, Elastic-Search, and Big Data EMR/EC2/Glue/Lambda
