Keyrus North America (NORAM) is seeking a full-time Data Engineer Consultant with strong experience in Microsoft Fabric, and other modern cloud data platforms. This role combines hands-on data engineering with opportunities to engage in client-facing consulting. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or cloud data roles, with proven success in delivering end-to-end solutions.
  • Strong hands-on Fabric experience, including building and optimizing data pipelines and strong expertise in at least 1 of the following: Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory.
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse, lakehouse, and modern cloud data architecture patterns
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to operate with confidence and credibility in front of client teams, including the ability to push back constructively
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives and technical requirements, translating them into effective data solutions that drive value.
  • Support end-to-end delivery of data initiatives: design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, data lakes and architectures using Fabric, and other modern tools (Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Services, etc.).
  • Design and implement lakehouse architectures, following medallion architecture principles to ensure scalability, data quality, governance, and performance.
  • Build and maintain parameterized ingestion frameworks for batch and near real-time pipelines.
  • Design, implement, and operate CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, automated deployments across environments.
  • Define, promote, and enforce Fabric best practices.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams—data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders—to deliver cohesive and impactful solutions.
  • Stay up to date with offerings and emerging technologies, recommending improvements and innovative solutions to meet business needs.
