About The Position

This role focuses on assisting clients with the overall security design and approach across complex SAP environments. The Data Engineer will lead the implementation of SAP security designs, own and lead the development and testing of SAP authorization profiles, and configure and/or perform security reviews of SAP GRC Access Controls modules. Collaboration with project teams is key to providing security guidance and ensuring security is embedded throughout SAP delivery lifecycles. The role also involves leading a team through SAP security build and testing activities.

• SAP Roles and Authorizations design and maintenance
• Configuration and review of SAP GRC Access Controls modules
• Performing SAP security reviews
• Advising project teams on SAP security approach
• SAP security governance frameworks
• SAP security policies documentation
• SAP security procedures documentation
• SAP GRC Access Control reporting
• Reviewing and analyzing SAP GRC Access Control reports
• Formulating remediation and security recommendations from GRC reports
• Hands‑on SAP Fiori security
• SAP BTP application security
• SAP Cloud security
• Enterprise Threat Detection (ETD)

Responsibilities
