About The Position

Data Engineer with deep knowledge of CAT datasets, driving identification and resolution of data quality gaps through advanced analytics. Translates complex data into clear visual insights to highlight trends and support informed, data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Business Statistics: Knowledge of the statistical tools, processes, and practices to describe business results in measurable scales; ability to use statistical tools and processes to assist in making business decisions.
• Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
• Machine Learning: Knowledge of principles, technologies and algorithms of machine learning; ability to develop, implement and deliver related systems, products and services.
• Programming Languages: Knowledge of basic concepts and capabilities of programming; ability to use tools, techniques and platforms in order to write and modify programming languages.
• Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
• BS Degree; Open for Masters; Associate Degree – 5 years exp
• Expertise in Python & SQL (advanced querying, data manipulation)
• Strong experience in data visualization & storytelling (Power BI/Tableau)
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery)
• Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ETL, data modeling, pipelines)
• Experience with supply chain, capacity planning, and/or inventory management concepts.
• Strong foundation in machine learning and statistics
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to partner with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
