About The Position

We are seeking a Data Domain Architect to design datasets and data products that drive business value. This role involves evaluating user interaction with data, suggesting improvements, and developing plans for dataset design and development. You will operate curated strategic datasets as products, focusing on consumer needs and defining the features and capabilities of future data products. Success will be measured by defined quantitative and qualitative criteria. The role also includes incorporating business needs into data storytelling, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build data pipelines, and maintaining the product backlog through agile ceremonies. You will identify design approaches, verify delivered features through validation and user testing, and develop documentation for quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Data Analytics Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Information Management or related field of study.
  • 1 year of experience in the job offered or as Data Domain Architect, Data Analyst, Analyst, or related occupation.
  • Coding using SQL and Python, including scalability and performance in diverse environments including AWS, Snowflake, and Teradata.
  • Creating customer data models, including various types of models and layers, to support data storage solutions and ensure data integrity and accessibility.
  • Performing data modernization by linking data concepts to data products using common vocabularies, ensuring integration and interoperability across various data sources.
  • Using Align and Jira to guide product-related processes and translate customer needs into market-ready solutions.
  • Extracting customer data by conducting and analyzing feedback from interviews, surveys, and focus groups to uncover pain points and opportunities for improvements.
