About The Position

The Data Coordinator Neurosciences Institute Research is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and analyzing statistical data for management. This role translates data and other information into meaningful insights for decision-making and goal planning, while maintaining accurate and timely reporting methods. The coordinator will present graphics and information related to department statistics and Quality Assurance data during monthly meetings. They will also write clear monthly and quarterly reports for management, physicians, and clients to measure process and outcomes, and compile abstract data for trending and tracking. Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of reporting and any requested data is crucial. The position also involves compiling appropriate data to accommodate requests from outside departments, reporting progress in achieving department goals, and assisting the department in building relationships with external facilities. The role requires working under pressure to meet deadlines, maintaining a professional image and confidentiality, and providing programming support and personal computer expertise as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 3 years of data entry or administrative experience required
  • Working knowledge of basic computer programs specifically word processing database
  • Proficient with Excel required
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people.
  • Maintains confidentiality.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collects, reviews and analyzes statistical data for management.
  • Translates data and other information prepared by management into meaningful information for decision making and goal planning.
  • Maintains accurate and timely reporting methods.
  • Presents graphics and other information pertaining to department specific statistics, as well as Quality Assurance data for both non-clinical and clinical sectors of the department during monthly meetings in a logical and concise format.
  • Writes clear and concise monthly and quarterly reports for management, physicians and individual clients to measure process and outcomes.
  • Compiles abstract data into reporting methods for trending and tracking.
  • Ensures accuracy and timeliness of reporting and any requested data.
  • Compiles appropriate data to accommodate requests from outside departments upon request.
  • Participates in reporting to management progress in achievement of department goals.
  • Assists department in maintaining and building relationships with external facilities and departments.
  • Works under pressure in order to meet deadlines and timely requests.
  • Maintain a professional image and the confidentiality of all information.
  • Provides programming support and personal computer expertise for the department as needed.
