About The Position

The Data Conversion Specialist will be responsible for analyzing and mapping data from old systems to new ones, developing and implementing data conversion plans, and ensuring data quality and integrity. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, researching new technologies, and mentoring team members. The position requires extensive experience in data analysis, migration, planning, validation, and quality assurance.

Requirements

Ten (10) plus years of expertise and/or relevant experience in data analysis, mapping, and migration between legacy and modern systems
Developing and implementing comprehensive data conversion plans
Designing and executing data validation and testing processes
Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency throughout conversion projects
Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and cross-functional departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with LADOTD data or other similar state applications.
Experience with data conversion tools, ETL platforms, and scripting languages.

Responsibilities

Analyze and map data from the old system to the new one.
Develop and implement data conversion plans.
Design and execute data validation and testing processes.
Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data conversion process.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to define and prioritize data conversion requirements.
