Data Collectors are responsible for traveling frequently to selected locations to recruit study participants, initiating in-person contact with potential respondents to discuss the study, answer questions, and obtain participation. They will be collecting confidential information and administering standardized questionnaires. This role involves independently managing administrative duties, including participating in conference calls and completing online trainings. Data Collectors will transmit data as scheduled, assume full and legal responsibility for the use and care of project-issued equipment, and safeguard any participant incentives, issued equipment, or project materials against damage, loss, or theft. They will also assume responsibility for and carefully track all participant incentives, submit timely and accurate Time and Expense reports, and attend in-person or virtual scheduled meetings with other members of the project team. Maintaining communications and tracking participants for follow-up visits, overseeing and guiding biological data collection by participants, and assisting participants with downloading study software on personal devices for interventions procedures are also key responsibilities.
