About The Position

The Data Collector is responsible for accurately gathering, recording, and maintaining production, quality, and operational data throughout the poultry processing facility. This position plays a critical role in supporting production efficiency, regulatory compliance, food safety standards, and reporting requirements. The Data Collector works closely with production supervisors, quality assurance personnel, and management to ensure accurate and timely documentation of plant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, record, and verify production data from various departments within the poultry processing facility.
  • Accurately enter data into plant tracking systems, spreadsheets, and company databases.
  • Monitor production rates, yields, downtime, labor utilization, and other key performance indicators.
  • Gather information related to food safety, quality assurance, and compliance programs.
  • Maintain records required for USDA, OSHA, Tyson Foods, and other regulatory standards.
  • Review collected data for accuracy and completeness and report discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by management.
  • Assist supervisors and managers with analyzing operational data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company information and production records.
  • Communicate effectively with production, maintenance, quality assurance, and management teams.
  • Follow all company safety, animal welfare, biosecurity, and food safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
