About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. In this position you will: Be responsible for monitoring the audits done in the slicing room. Conduct timely checks for metal detection, collect samples, label verification and other varying audits as needed within the Slicing Department as deemed necessary by management. Have good communication and organizational skills to ensure the process is followed in compliance with product processing procedures and regulations. Follow all Safety and Food Safety Procedures. Be willing to work overtime as needed. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to lift up to 10 pounds.
Push/pull loaded bins with hand jack.
Work in a cold and damp or dry environment.
Perform repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing, and walking.
Good communication and organizational skills.
