About The Position

WorldLink is seeking a Data Collection Technician to join their team. This role involves collecting robot teleoperation and navigation data, operating robots and teleoperation devices, and setting up/calibrating equipment. The technician will also assist with the computer vision annotation pipeline, ensure data synchronization, document experiments, and perform routine hardware inspections and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements

2+ years prior experience working with robots (manipulators and humanoids)
1+ years experience working with teleoperation systems
Bachelor's degree in any field or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree
Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Overall 3-5 years professional experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.
Prior experience with Mechatronics
Prior experience working with sensor systems

Responsibilities

Collect robot teleoperation and navigation data using predefined experimental protocols.
Operate robots, grippers, and teleoperation devices.
Set up and calibrate cameras, sensors, and data acquisition systems.
Help set up computer vision annotation pipeline.
Ensure synchronization of vision, robot state, and sensor data.
Document experimental conditions, maintain accurate records and verify data quality.
Organize, label, upload, and maintain detailed records about collected datasets.
Perform routine hardware inspections and report equipment issues.
Assist with basic troubleshooting of robotics software and hardware.
